Nia is a cardio-dance workout that combines 52 simple moves with uplifting and inspiring music. Through a fusion of the dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts Nia is non-impact, practiced barefoot, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities.
 
More than just a workout, Nia is a holistic fitness practice addressing everyone’s ability to discover, explore, unleash, and enhance our individual potential to live a healthy and meaningful life by engaging our senses and listening to our bodies. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced.
 
Nia is ideal for all ages and fitness levels. It's all about the Joy of Movement!

A NEW STUDENT'S STORY

Each class incorporates 7 cycles – Setting the focus, stepping in to the practice, warming up, get moving, cooling down, floorplay and stepping out. Participants wear comfortable clothing and bring water.
